How to port your number from RingCentral to Consio
Transfer your existing RingCentral phone number to Consio while keeping your current business number.
Before you start
Before submitting your porting request, make sure:
Your RingCentral account is still active.
The phone number you want to transfer is active.
Your RingCentral account is in good standing.
You have access to your RingCentral billing information.
You know your voicemail PIN.
You do not cancel your RingCentral subscription before the port is completed.
Cancelling your RingCentral account too early can prevent the number from being transferred.
Information you’ll need from RingCentral
Prepare the following information before starting your port request:
Voicemail PIN
You’ll need your RingCentral voicemail PIN.
The PIN should be 6–10 digits.
If you don’t remember it, you cannot view the existing PIN. You’ll need to reset it in RingCentral:

Use the new PIN when submitting your porting request.
Account number
Your RingCentral account number is typically your 10-digit main company phone number.
You can verify it from the RingCentral website under:

Provide the billing address associated with your RingCentral account.
The information should match RingCentral’s records exactly.
Proof of ownership
You may be asked to provide a recent RingCentral invoice or billing statement showing your account details.
You can provide:
A downloaded PDF
A screenshot
A photo of the billing statement

Open your RingCentral settings and make sure you have a voicemail PIN that you know.
If necessary, reset it before submitting your porting request.

Check the billing section of your RingCentral account and confirm your account number.
In most cases, this will be your main company phone number.

Save a recent invoice, PDF, or screenshot showing your RingCentral account information.

Start the number porting process with Consio and provide the requested RingCentral account information and documentation.

Your existing number should continue working through RingCentral until the transfer is completed.
Do not cancel your RingCentral service while the request is being processed.
7. Wait for confirmation from Consio
We’ll let you know if additional information is required and confirm once the number has successfully moved to Consio.
How long does it take?
RingCentral number ports typically take around 1–2 weeks when all information is correct.
Timelines can vary depending on the number type, carrier requirements, and whether additional verification is needed.
I don’t know my voicemail PIN. What should I do?
You’ll need to reset it in RingCentral.
Go to:
Settings → Phone settings → Phone → Edit voicemail PIN
Use the new PIN for your Consio porting request.
Is my main number the same as my account number?
In most cases, yes.
RingCentral typically uses the main company phone number as the account number.
You can verify this in your RingCentral billing section before submitting the request.
Can I port only some of my RingCentral numbers?
Yes. You can choose which phone numbers you want to transfer to Consio.
Numbers that are not included in the port request can remain active with RingCentral.
What happens to my RingCentral extensions and users?
Only the phone numbers included in your porting request are transferred.
Your RingCentral extensions, users, settings, and other configurations remain with RingCentral.
Will my RingCentral integrations continue working?
Integrations connected to RingCentral may stop working for numbers that have been transferred.
Make sure any integrations or workflows you still need are configured appropriately after the port is completed.
Should I cancel RingCentral before porting?
No. Keep your RingCentral account and phone numbers active until Consio confirms that the port has been completed successfully.
Cancelling your RingCentral service before the transfer is finished could delay the process or make the number unavailable for porting.
