Before you start
Before submitting your porting request, make sure:
Your NumberBarn account is still active.
Your NumberBarn account is in good standing.
The phone number you want to transfer is active.
You have access to the NumberBarn mobile app.
You have a recent NumberBarn bill or statement.
You do not cancel your NumberBarn service before the port is completed.
Cancelling your NumberBarn service too early can prevent or delay the number transfer.
Information you’ll need from NumberBarn
Prepare the following information before starting your port request:
Port-out PIN
You’ll need your NumberBarn port-out PIN, which is typically 9–16 digits.
To find it:
Open the NumberBarn app
Tap Numbers
Select the number you want to transfer
Open the Port Out tab
Your port-out PIN will be displayed
Generate or retrieve the PIN before submitting your porting request.
Account number
Your NumberBarn account number is typically 10 digits.
To find it:
Open the NumberBarn app
Tap Numbers
Select the number you want to transfer
Open the Port Out tab
Your account number will be displayed
Billing address
Provide the billing address associated with your NumberBarn account.
The information should match NumberBarn’s records exactly.
Proof of ownership
You may be asked to provide a recent NumberBarn billing statement to verify your account details.
You can provide:
A downloaded PDF
A screenshot
A photo of your recent bill
How to port your NumberBarn number to Consio
1. Open the NumberBarn app
Log in to your NumberBarn account from the mobile app.
2. Select the number you want to port
Go to Numbers and select the phone number you want to transfer to Consio.
3. Get your port-out information
Open the Port Out tab.
Copy your:
Port-out PIN
Account number
Make sure you enter these details exactly as shown.
4. Verify your billing information
Check that your billing address matches NumberBarn’s records exactly.
Incorrect or mismatched information can delay the port.
5. Download a recent NumberBarn bill
Save a recent bill as a PDF, screenshot, or photo for account verification.
6. Submit your porting request to Consio
Start the number porting process with Consio and provide the requested NumberBarn account information and documentation.
We’ll review your request and let you know if anything else is required.
7. Keep your NumberBarn account active
Do not cancel your NumberBarn service while the port is being processed.
Your number needs to remain active until the transfer has been completed.
8. Wait for confirmation from Consio
We’ll confirm once the transfer has been completed and your number is active with Consio.
How long does it take?
NumberBarn ports typically take around 1–2 weeks when all account information is correct.
The exact timeline can vary depending on the carrier, number type, and whether additional verification is required.
Why is my port-out PIN 9–16 digits?
NumberBarn port-out PINs can vary in length.
Use the PIN displayed in the Port Out section of the NumberBarn app exactly as provided.
Can I port a parked NumberBarn number?
Yes. NumberBarn specializes in number parking and porting, so parked numbers can generally be transferred as long as the number and account remain active and eligible for porting.
Can I port multiple NumberBarn numbers?
Yes. If you want to transfer multiple numbers, make sure you retrieve the correct port-out information for each number and include all of them in your porting request.
Do I need to disable call forwarding before porting?
You generally do not need to disable call forwarding just to submit the port request.
Keep your existing NumberBarn configuration active until the transfer is complete unless you receive different instructions during the porting process.
Should I cancel NumberBarn before porting?
No. Keep your NumberBarn account and phone number active until Consio confirms that the port has been completed successfully.
Cancelling your NumberBarn service before the transfer is finished could delay or prevent the port.
