How to port your number from Kixie to Consio

Transfer your existing Kixie phone number to Consio while keeping your current business number.

Before you start

Before submitting your porting request, make sure:

  • Your Kixie account is still active.

  • The phone number you want to transfer is active.

  • Your Kixie account is in good standing.

  • You have access to your Kixie account and billing information.

  • You have a recent Kixie bill or statement available.

  • You do not cancel your Kixie service before the port is completed.

Cancelling your Kixie account too early can prevent or delay the number transfer. Kixie ports typically require coordination between providers, and keeping the account active throughout the process is important.

Information you’ll need from Kixie

Prepare the following information before starting your port request:

Use the full international format when possible.

  • A copy of your recent bill

How long does it take?

Kixie number porting can take around 1–2 weeks, although the exact timeline varies depending on the number type, carrier requirements, geographical location, and information provided.

Will my number keep working during the transfer?

Your number should remain active with Kixie while the port is being processed.

Once the transfer is completed, the number will become active with Consio.

Can I port multiple Kixie numbers?

Yes. If you have multiple Kixie phone numbers you want to transfer, include all relevant numbers in your porting request.

Additional documentation may be required depending on the number of phone numbers being transferred.

Why can number porting take longer?

Porting requires coordination between your existing provider, the new provider, and the carriers involved.

Delays can happen because of incorrect account information, incomplete documentation, regulatory requirements, or additional carrier verification.

Providing accurate information from the beginning can help avoid unnecessary delays.

What happens to my Kixie data and configurations?

Porting transfers your phone number, not your entire Kixie account.

Your Kixie users, integrations, call history, recordings, settings, and other account configurations do not automatically transfer to Consio.

Make sure you save any information you want to keep before closing your Kixie account.

Should I cancel Kixie before porting?

No. Keep your Kixie account and phone numbers active until Consio confirms that the port has been completed successfully.

Cancelling your service before the transfer is finished could delay or prevent the port.
